Danger Dinners & Show: February 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23 & 29, and March 1 at 7 p.m.
"Nick Danger: Third Eye" -- This parody of radio detective shows, written by The Firesign Theatre, will be performed in front of a live audience, paired with a historic dinner and live vintage music presented by Simply Gourmet Caterers and live vintage music. The evening begins at 7 p.m. with an elegant supper served in the exclusive second-floor living area overlooking the bay. After dinner, the audience will move downstairs to the salon for the show. Royal Tea: Tuesdays in February, 2-4 p.m.
The Royal Teas will take place in the exclusive upstairs area of the historic estate overlooking the beautiful bay. The tea will feature a selection of petite sandwiches, homemade scones and other culinary delights exquisitely presented by Simply Gourmet Caterers. The Royal Tea will be held 2-4 p.m. on Tuesdays in February. The price for the tea is $30. Space is limited and is expected to sell out. For more information and reservations, call 941-225-9122.
Estate Tour: Tuesdays in February and March at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon
Enjoy a docent-led tour of the Crosley Estate. Get a behind-the-scenes tour of the 11,500-square-foot., 21-room winter home of Powel Crosley, Jr. and his wife, Gwendolyn. Docents will share the entrepreneur’s innovation of autos, radios, airplanes, fax machines, Voice of America, baseball and much more. Tours last about an hour and are fully accessible. Advance reservations are required. No walk-ins accepted. The tours are FREE, but donations to the Crosley Estate Foundation will be accepted. For tour reservations, call 941-722-3244, ext. 0.
Crosley History Showcase: February 15 - April 1, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Enjoy a self-guided tour of the Crosley History Showcase located inside the newly restored Crosley Carriage House. No reservations required, but admission is $5.
A portion of the proceeds collected will benefit the Crosley Estate Foundation.
