From a monthly music night to an international wine festival, special events in Lakewood Ranch are sure to entertain.

Music on Main
Attracting an ever-increasing throng of people, Music on Main happens from 6-9 p.m. on the first Friday of every month. This free outdoor concert is for everyone in the family – babies in strollers, young kids, romantic couples, even Fido (if kept on a short leash). Bring a chair (but leave the cooler at home), hang out and listen to live music.

Ovation
Ovation is a free yearly festival celebrating arts and culture. The event features live performances from a variety of Gulf Coast entertainment. Last year's event included shows from the Sarasota Ballet, PAL Sailor Circus and Sarasota Jazz Ensemble, to name a few.

Art at the Ranch
This annual juried art show takes place over the course of two days. Dozens of artists from across the nation converge to show and sell their wares, from glass sculptures to tile and jewelry.

Suncoast Food & Wine Fest
One of the most popular Lakewood Ranch events, the Suncoast Food & Wine Fest brings hundreds of international wines and samples from local chefs to eagerly awaiting palettes. Cooking demonstrations and live music, too? This event is a no-brainer.

Tour of Homes
During the first three weekends of November, the annual Lakewood Ranch Tour of Homes features events to showcase model homes and builders. Events vary from year to year, but look for special happenings on Main Street, including the International Beer Festival.  

Did you know that events on Main Street raise money for local charities, too? All the more reason to attend a festival or concert. Dozens of other special events pop up all year long, such as seasonal happenings (like free photos with Santa during the holidays) and weekly farmers markets.
