Our Mission Statement
The mission of the sports commission is to promote the economic development and enhance the way of life in Manatee County through the promotion and development of amateur, professional and recreational sports. We enhance the sports scene, as well as benefit our community by creating jobs, generating revenue, gaining exposure and building civic pride. We focus on developing new events, recruiting sports activities, assisting existing events and marketing recreational and leisure activities.
