Manatee County includes a wide range of sports venues, from auditoriums capable of hosting large indoor events, baseball/softball complexes and even world-class rowing.

Manatee Convention Center - This 35,000 sq. ft. arena-style stadium is great for basketball, disc golf, indoor skating, ballroom dancing, arena football, gymnastics, wrestling and sports conventions and is conveniently located across the bridge from downtown Bradenton.

  • 56 tennis courts, 13 soccer fields, 2 football fields, 2 lacrosse fields, 2 multipurpose fields

Ellenton Ice & Sports Complex, 5309 29th St. E., Ellenton - This complex features two ice rinks and one turf rink and hosts events such as hockey, figure skating, indoor soccer, volleyball, indoor cricket and paintball. It includes a gaming room and a restaurant/pub onsite.

McKechnie Field - This 6,000-seat baseball field is ideal for premier baseball events and concerts.

Pirate City - This location includes six baseball fields, a gated entrance for self-promoted ticket sales, plenty of parking and 84 dorm rooms for long-term stays.

G.T. Bray Park, 5506 33rd Ave. Dr. W., Bradenton - This extensive sports park features facilities for baseball, softball, soccer, horseshoes, basketball, racquetball, tennis and football.

Blackstone Skate Park , 2112 14th Ave. W., Palmetto In addition to the skate park , Blackstone provides fields for softball and soccer.

DeSoto Super Speedway  - "The South's fastest short track." Stock cars every Sat. night on a 3/8 mile asphalt oval track.

Lakewood Ranch Park , 5350 Lakewood Ranch Blvd., Bradenton - This sports complex in eastern Manatee County accommodates baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, racquetball and basketball.

Braden River Park, 5201 51st St. E., Bradenton - This park complex hosts baseball, soccer and paddling events.

Palma Sola Park, 7915 40th Ave., Bradenton
  • Adult baseball field, 3 softball fields, 2 soccer fields
Bradenton Motorsports Park - Kick off the NMRA racing season at Bradenton Motorsports Park, where every spring racers from all over the country gather to get back on track. Bradenton Motorsports Park is home to weekly NHRA drag racing, plus national series events. And in January and February, big fields and record-breaking runs draw huge crowds.

Andersen RacePark, 10101 U.S. Hwy. 41 N., Palmetto - Hit the track at Andersen RacePark, an 18-acre facility that features a viewing tower and pro shop in addition to the track. Whether you want to be a race car driver or simply relieve some stress, Andersen offers programs for all skill levels.
  • 18 acres, 1-mile track, lake, 22 garages on pit lane, full-service karting store and Andersen Racing's 8,000-square-foot shop, where professional open-wheel race cars are prepared
Nathan Benderson Park, 2500 N. Honore Ave., Sarasota - A world-class rowing facility in Sarasota, Nathan Benderson Park is home to a 2,000-meter, 8-lane course. It has the permanent infrastructure to support major regattas and training for such prestigious rowing schools as Harvard and Notre Dame.

Fort Hamer Park - A practice facility complete with boathouse and floating dock, Fort Hamer Park in Parrish serves as winter training grounds for colleges from the Northeast and Midwest.

State College of Florida, Manatee-Saraosta (SCF) Baseball Field - SCF's Robert C. Wynn Baseball Field this year was the only college or university field to receive the prestigious American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) TURFACE Field Maintenance Award. Upgrades to the 48-year-old field were noted, including a 10-foot halo around home plate, scoreboard with message center, professional batter’s eye, new brick wall with padding and backstop netting, four-column bricked entryway with iron gates, and redesigned landscaping around the facility.
